2021 Disaster Relief - Haiti Earthquake Fund

A 7.2 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti on August 14, killing at least 2,000 people, injuring scores, and destroying homes, businesses, and infrastructure across the departments of Sud, Grand'Anse, Nippes and Ouest in the southern and western regions of the island. Massive search and rescue operations are underway; casualty figures are expected to rise, and hospitals are being overwhelmed with patients. Several 5+ magnitude aftershocks also struck the area, and Tropical Storm Grace brought heavy rains just a few days later, hampering recovery efforts. Cisco Foundation has launched a $250K Haiti Earthquake Disaster Relief campaign to support the efforts of the organizations in this fund. The Cisco Foundation will match eligible donations up to $10,000 per employee. Donations will not be counted toward employees' annual $25,000 match limit. For more information on the response, please visit http://go2.cisco.com/DisasterSupport Note on Tax Deductibility: This fund includes U.S.- based organizations. U.S. employees who make a credit card donation will receive a receipt for tax deductibility for the portion of the donation contributed to these organizations. Employees outside the U.S. will not be able to receive a receipt for tax deductibility for credit card donations to organizations in this fund.
