2021 Disaster Relief - Super Typhoon Rai Fund

About

Super Typhoon Rai made landfall on Thursday, December 16, on Siargao Island in the Caraga region of the Philippines. The 15th major storm and the strongest one to hit the country this year, Typhoon Rai (known locally as Odette) packed winds of up to 160 mph (Category 5), along with torrential rains which caused severe flooding and landslides. Power outages are widespread, and there has been catastrophic damage to homes, businesses and infrastructure. There have been at least 375 confirmed fatalities with the death toll expected to rise; more than 500 people were injured and dozens were reported missing. Cisco Foundation has launched a $250K Typhoon Rai (Odette) - Philippines Disaster Relief campaign to support the efforts of the organizations listed below. **Note on Tax Deductibility: This fund may include organizations based in the US, and in other countries.
