2022 Disaster Relief - Bangladesh Floods Fund

About

Monsoon season arrived earlier than usual, bringing heavy rains across northeastern Bangladesh resulting in the region's worst flooding in over 120 years. As of mid-June, more than 900 square miles have been affected by floods, impacting and isolating more than 4 million people across several districts including Sylhet and Sunamganj. At least 40 people have been killed; homes, livelihoods and infrastructure have been destroyed. Cisco Foundation has launched a $25K Bangladesh Floods disaster campaign to support the efforts of Islamic Relief and International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). Donations will be matched up to $10,000 per employee. Campaign donations will not be counted toward employees' annual $25,000 match limit. Note on Tax Deductibility: This fund includes U.S.- based organizations. U.S. employees who make a credit card donation will receive a receipt for tax deductibility for the portion of the donation contributed to these organizations. Employees outside the U.S. will not be able to receive a receipt for tax deductibility for credit card donations to organizations in this fund.
