Center for Urban Education About Sustainable Agriculture

CUESA (Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture) is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating a sustainable food system through the operation of farmers markets and educational programs. CUESA was founded in 1994 to educate urban consumers about sustainable agriculture and to create links between urban dwellers and local farmers. CUESA is committed to conducting its business, programs, and market activities according to the following core values: sustainability, excellence, vision, and community. CUESA’s educational initiatives inspire eaters of all ages to participate in cultivating a healthy food system.

Literacy For Environmental Justice

LEJ promotes ecological health, environmental stewardship, and community development in Southeast San Francisco by creating urban greening, eco-literacy, community stewardship and workforce development opportunities that directly engage and support local residents in securing a healthier future. Our vision of a more just and healthy future for Southeast San Francisco not only involves only our organizations, but others who are like-minded as well. Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County

Our mission is to end hunger through healthy food, education and leadership. Our vision is for a Santa Cruz County where no one has their life's opportunities limited because of hunger or malnutrition. We partner with nearly 100 of Santa Cruz County's best non profits providing them access to the food they need for their client population, in addition we have nearly 60 of our own nutrition education and distribution sites throughout Santa Cruz County.

San Francisco Marin Food Bank

The SF-Marin Food Bank's mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin, where one in four neighbors is at risk of hunger. We envision a community where everyone is able to obtain enough nutritious food in a dignified manner to support the health and well-being of themselves and their families. We address hunger head on: from our pantry network and home-delivered groceries, to our nutrition-education classes and CalFresh (food-stamp) enrollment, we work in many ways to nourish and empower neighbors in need. The Alameda County Community Food Bank Inc

Alameda County Community Food Bank passionately pursues a hunger-free community. Alameda County Community Food Bank — Feeding America’s 2016-2017 Food Bank of the Year — has been at the forefront of hunger relief efforts in the Bay Area since 1985. While in COVID-19 emergency response, the Food Bank serves 1 in 4 Alameda County residents by distributing food through a network of 420 food pantries, soup kitchens, and other community organizations, as well as direct distribution and COVID-relief programs including school programs, home delivery, and contactless drive-through distributions.
